Healthcare IT Institute
June 7 - June 9, 2020
The Belmond, Charleston, SC
Leveraging IT to Optimize Service Levels, Increase Patient Satisfaction, Influence Transformation and Collaborate to Become a Provider of Choice.
Regardless of location, health systems across the country struggle with affordability, inequitable health care access, uneven outcomes, evolving patient expectations and increasing demand for services from growing populations with longer life spans. Health information and digital technologies can help meet these challenges, by supporting population health management, enhancing the patient experience and driving insights into health conditions and the social determinants of health. Federal mandates and evolving regulations, combined with changing patient expectations are influencing the way healthcare is delivered, consumed and reimbursed. In the midst of continued consolidation, new care models, reduced reimbursement, and privacy and security concerns brought on by new technologies and population health management initiatives, many CIOs and IT Leaders find themselves being relied upon to play a more strategic role, demanding different skill sets to be successful.
The Healthcare IT Institute continues to provide a unique, intimate environment for experienced and accomplished hospital and health systems CIOs and technology leaders to gather on an annual basis. Now into its 11th year, the 2020 Institute will provide opportunities for IT executives to interact with one another, to dig into a range of highly relevant, timely topics, and to glean pragmatic tips and best practices to be most effective in their roles and to enable their organizations to thrive in a dynamic healthcare landscape.
The 2019 Healthcare IT Institute has been designed by Healthcare CIOs for Healthcare CIOs. The agenda recognizes the importance of keeping abreast of current technology developments in a highly regulated and rapidly evolving environment and over the course of two and a half days, you will accomplish a great deal, digging into a range of highly relevant and timely topics, and gleaning actual pragmatic tips and best practices from your peers.
