Key Legal Considerations and Best Practices for Operating in an Evolving and Uncertain Healthcare Environment
21st Century healthcare requires a continuous balancing act between managing the business of today and creating the business of tomorrow. Federal mandates and evolving regulations, combined with changing patient expectations are influencing the way healthcare is delivered, consumed and reimbursed. In the midst of continued consolidation, new care models, reduced reimbursement, physician employment and compensation challenges, and privacy and security concerns brought on by new technologies and population health management initiatives, many counsel find themselves thrust into bigger roles, those of strategic advisor or partner to their senior executive administrators and boards of directors, demanding different skill sets to be successful.
The Healthcare Law & Compliance Institute continues to provide a unique, intimate environment for experienced and accomplished hospital and health systems CLOs and GCs gather on an annual basis. Now into its 10th year, the 2020 Institute will provide opportunities for legal executives to interact with one another, to dig into a range of highly relevant, timely topics, and to glean pragmatic tips and best practices to be most effective in their roles and to enable their organizations to thrive in a dynamic healthcare landscape.
Excellent agenda and speakers; well organized conference; great opportunity top connect with other GCs, outside counsel leaders and key vendors. Very value added.
The information was outstanding. The depth and detail were perfect, and the sessions gave me information I could use in my organization. The level of discussion was high – higher than the large legal meetings I have attended. The overall experience was great. Food was good, activities were fun and hotel was nice. The staff are the key to making this work – the staff is professional, organized, fun, and just great people. The tech worked flawlessly, the sessions were on time and there was enough free time.
Great program & well organized. Strong speaker panel & good coverage of relevant issues.
This is my favorite seminar. It’s wonderful to be with other GCs to share some real world experiences.
Timely and engaging; enjoyed intimate setting and quality of attendees; great job by IPMI staff.
