HR Management Institute - Canada
November 3 - November 5, 2019
The JW Marriott, Muskoka, ON
On November 4th – 6th, 2018, CHROs, SVPs and VPs of HR from Canadian organizations across a range of industries and locations gathered at the Four Seasons Vancouver for a few days of networking, learning, sharing of insights and strategies, as well as stimulating discussions around the risks and opportunities facing the HR Function.
In an increasingly knowledge and service-based economy, having the right people in the right roles has never been more critical.
At the human capital level, as Baby Boomer retirement, generational differences, skills gaps, workforce globalization and heightened demands for more empathetic and highly skilled leaders all converge at the desk of HR Leaders.
One of the ways to meet these challenges is to meet with other HR executives to exchange ideas and best practices and to learn from each other’s experiences. The highly qualified speaker faculty provided some perspectives, insights, strategies and tactics for positioning the HR function to develop the best talent available and to sustain a workforce that delivers on their respective organization’s value proposition.
Attending CHROs, SVPs and VPs of HR had the opportunity to benchmark ideas and network in an intimate, senior-level environment through a series of interactive panels, roundtables and keynotes, which provided the tools and actionable insights necessary to rise to today’s human capital and competitive challenges.
Good level of discussion with senior HR and business level professionals. Many opportunities to meet colleagues facing similar issues and connect with diverse vendors and suppliers. Great speakers and presentations.
Subjects presented and discussed were very relevant. The strategic discussions were meaningful and the connections made were impressive. Looking forward to digesting the information and taking action.
Fantastic networking experiences; the event was an effective and productive use of time – especially the business meetings! Enjoyed hearing about shared experiences and best practices of speakers!
Level of dialogue is at the right level for an executive level audience. The presentations, think tanks and networking opportunities provided forums to talk high level strategy but also discuss successful tactics.
A very valuable experience that covered a lot of topics. Great event coordination, well planned and executed. Professional and good networking opportunities.
Very well managed and organized schedules. Quality was generally very high. Great group of people, industries, organizations and experiences.
