Brenda Lacy-Davis is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Fox Networks Group domestically responsible for leading a team of HR executives broadcast, technology, digital and corporate financial sectors of the company.
She is a results-oriented, versatile executive who leads a high performance team dedicated to strategic partnerships with business heads, designing and executing a multitude of HR initiatives for a diverse multi-generational workforce.
After clerking for the U.S. District Court in the Central District of California, Brenda worked as transactional lawyer at a top tier international law-firm in San Francisco. Subsequently, she spent 4 years at Viacom initially as an in house legal advisor then in New York with MTV Networks (a division of Viacom) in the role of business development. After Viacom, Brenda moved back to Los Angeles where she worked for Fox Family Channel (now Free Form) and several other start-ups in the media industry. In those roles she instilled best practices in all areas impacting employees – talent management, performance management, compensation, benefits work place incentives and retention. Brenda was recruited to work for Fox in the broadcast and technology sector providing human resources oversight and labor relations services for over 1000 employees (staff and union). Brenda accepted the challenge to approach a similar landscape from a different lens, transforming herself into a passionate human resources professional.
