Doug Garner is vice president of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) for BAE Systems Electronic Systems sector and a member of the ES Leadership Team.
Doug has held management positions within SHE and BCM as well as Facilities and Security during his 33 years with BAE Systems. He is the executive sponsor of the sector’s Wellness Program and Warrior Integration Program sponsor and coordinates the ES site executives.
He is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and has held leadership positions in several VFW posts. Doug is a retired LTC from the U.S. Army Reserves with 26 years of service, to include four years of active duty and a 2003-2004 deployment to Kuwait with Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a registered professional civil engineer in NH and a Certified Business Continuity Planner. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas, and an MBA from Western New England College.
Doug lives in Brookline, NH with his wife Diane. They have four grown children who live in Boston, Haverhill, MA, Hagerstown, MD and Barnstead, NH and two granddaughters in Bennington, NH and Lebanon and two grandsons in MD.
