Floyd Chasse, MS, SPHR, was named Vice President of Human Resources in October of 2015.
He joined Erlanger with a broad knowledge base in human resources operations and a specialized background in healthcare organizations spanning over 20 years.
Prior to joining Erlanger, Mr. Chasse served as Vice President of Human Resources at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, Michigan, a university-affiliated teaching hospital with multiple campuses and a large physician/clinic practice network. In his Executive role with the Michigan Health Care System, Mr. Chasse was responsible for directing the Human Resources Division, Volunteer Services, as well as Environmental and Dietary services. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Chasse served as Vice President of Operations and Human Resources with Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, Kansas.
He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and of SHRM of Chattanooga. Mr. Chasse is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He received his M.S. degree in Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources, from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan and his B.A. in Criminology from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine.
