He serves as Kiewit Corporation’s vice president of Human Resources. In his role, John and his team manage Kiewit’s human resources team supporting over 20,000 (staff and craft) employees geographically dispersed across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Under John’s leadership, he directed the restructuring of human resources across the company to create a more efficient and effective HR model. The new model enabled Kiewit to lower
headcount 30% while providing aligned “best in class services” to the business. His specific oversight includes Recruiting (experienced, university and craft); Compensation; Business
Analytics; Employee Relations; Human Resources Business Partners; University Relations; Talent Development; Immigration and HR solutions center.
John joined the Kiewit organization in 2011 and has 25 years in various HR roles across the health care, banking, and construction industries. John resides in Kansas City with his wife Margo and their children Courtney and Ryan.
