Tunde Kolarinwa joined Rexall Pharmacy Group in 2016 and is the Senior Director, Talent Management at Rexall. As a member of Rexall’s Senior Leadership Team, Tunde manages a diverse portfolio of strategic onboarding and HR-related initiatives throughout Rexall. He is responsible for the entire Talent Strategy and Acquisition function, which encompasses process improvement, standardization, and employment branding — including HR Shared Services, for both the corporate office and over 400 retail locations.
Tunde led the establishment of Rexall’s first Employee Value Proposition, overhauled the Rexall Pharmacy Campus program, and launched Rexall’s leadership competencies called ILEAD, post-McKesson’s acquisition of the retail banner. Tunde works closely with the Human Resources team and Rexall’s leadership team on organizational effectiveness, employee engagement tactics, succession planning, training and leadership development, career pathing, talent acquisition, and workforce planning.
With over 10 years in the human resources sector, Tunde has distinguished himself as a capable leader, a champion of new developments, and an advocate for employees – enabling Rexall’s growing workforce to unlock their potential and strengthen the brand. Prior to joining Rexall, Tunde worked for Intact Financial Corporation, Target Canada and Cara Operations, including others, in a capacity of notable HR roles.
Tunde is Prosci ADKAR certified in change management and holds a diploma in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College’s post-graduate program with Honours in HR and Industrial Relations. In addition to his achievements, he also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Political Science. Tunde is currently stewarding inclusion and diversity efforts within business. He is married and father to a rambunctious toddler.
