IP Leaders Gather to Share Insights on How to Effectively Maximize Their IP Portfolios
By Monica Churchill on November 12, 2019
Companies were once measured on the goods they manufactured or traded, however today; they compete in a marketplace of ideas and innovation. Learning how to effectively manage IP has become commercially critical and fundamental to evolving business strategy.
From November 3rd to November 5th 2019, IP Executives from leading organizations across the U.S. gathered at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, CA, for a few days of networking, learning, and sharing of insights and strategies surrounding leveraging and protecting IP.
The IP Law & Management Institute provided an intimate and educational space for IP professionals to network with in-house and outside counsel interested in legal issues affecting IP. Over the course of two-an-a-half days, this exclusive gathering of experienced IP Counsel broke out into a series of roundtables, think tanks, interactive panels and keynotes. These sessions covered various themes such as, patenting AI inventions, ethical issues in IP practice, updates from the USPTO, emerging trends within technology, business and law, optimizing trademark strategy, patent analytics, measuring patent infringement damages, women in IP, best practices for maximizing patent exclusivity and many more.
If you would like the opportunity to engage with forward thinking IP Leaders, next year’s IP Law & Management Institute will take place October 25th – October 27th 2020 at the Ojai Valley Inn, Ojai, CA.
