L&D Leaders head to Nashville for the Corporate Learning & Development Institute!
By Monica Churchill on October 5, 2021
On September 26-28, 2021, L&D executives from across North America gathered at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, TN, to connect, collaborate and share their thoughts and best practices learned from the turbulent past few years. Attendees came with a similar goal in mind, to reimagine and reshape their L&D teams to refresh the future of work.
In a year of unprecedented change – from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic to the racial and social unrest across the country – learning leaders have been required to rethink how their organizations operate and find new avenues to reach their goals.
At the CLDI last weekend, executives shared their stories and lessons learned all while participating in a variety of interactive thought leadership sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, think tanks and business meetings, to allow for networking, connecting, and engaging with like-minded learning leaders.
CLOs, VPs and heads of Learning, Development, HR, and Diversity from organizations such as GE Appliances, Lyft, Siemens, NBCUniversal, TIAA, Unum, YUM Brands, TIBCO and many others, shared their passion and expertise in the L&D space as the program covered a few of the following themes:
- How to Design a Winning Learning Strategy at Your Organization
- Creating the Ultimate Learning Experience
- The Journey to Actualizing DEI Initiatives at Your Organization
- Coaching Our Way to a New World
- Learning Through a Paradigm Shift
- Using the Right Technology to Cultivate Your L&D Teams
- Building a Sustainable Learning Culture
The 2021 Corporate Learning & Development Institute provided a vessel for a safe, in person experience for L&D executives to connect, network and share tangible best practices for attendees to take back to their organization and implement change for the future of work.
The IPMI team sends a big thank you to the Advisory Committee, Service Providers, Speaker Faculty and the 2021 Delegation for a successful meeting. Attendees left feeling hopeful for the future of L&D success, armed with the tools needed to tackle the ever-evolving workforce.
