HR Leaders Connect in Savannah for the HR Management Institute East
By Monica Churchill on April 19, 2022
It was so great to be back in person at the HR Management Institute East, that took place March 27-29 at the beautiful JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District in the heart of historic Savannah, GA.
The three-day event was packed with inspirational keynotes, engaging panel discussions, interactive think tanks and breakout roundtable sessions, as well as opportunities to network and connect with likeminded peers on the experiences of the past couple years and consider strategies to prepare for what lies ahead for the future of work.
Attending executives at the HR Management Institute focused on the adaption of people and workplace strategies to positively impact organizational success. A few session highlights that were captured include:
The Value of Difference, Discomfort & Diversity to Create a Winning Culture of Inclusion
Are You Ready for It? The Holistic Journey to Actualizing a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Workforce
The Great Resignation: The Mental Shift HR Needs to Make to Save Their Employee Lifecycle
Fast Forward to the Future: How to Navigate and Prepare for the Changing Workforce
The Bigger Picture: How Can HR Executives Be a Partner with the CEO
The goal of the HR Management Institute was to provide a safe in person experience for HR executives to network and to share ideas on strategies to lead through evolving challenges to shape the new future of work. According to the feedback from attending HR Leaders, this goal was met and surpassed with comments such as:
“The IPMI conferences have been the best I have attended over the past several years. Of course, the quality of the HR professionals who take part is a huge part of this. The presentations that dig a little deeper and actually get into some tougher issues are especially appealing. But the job you do, together with your staff (who are great to work with), is truly outstanding. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the event this year, and for making it all that it has become”
“IPMI Staff are great. The conference is well organized and run”
“The format was excellent! Good mixture of solution providers and subject matter experts. The location was exceptional, and the networking experience was awesome. Great job!”
“Great logistics, venue, agenda, follow-up, communication with attendees, vendors, everything!”
“The IPMI team are a stellar group of professionals. I’m always impressed.”
We are so very grateful for the time, efforts and enthusiasm of the 2022 HR Management Institute Advisory Committee, Speaker Faculty, Service Providers and Attendees. We recognize all the many challenges each individual and organization has faced during these unprecedented times but know that with every challenge comes opportunity for growth. The IPMI Team can’t wait to host the HR Management Institute attending executives again very soon!
