Virtual Think Tank Series
Comparing Cybersecurity Strategies
Thursday, November 5, 2020 • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (EDT)
The pandemic forced healthcare organizations to make an overnight shift to support employees working from home and new telemedicine platforms. While some organizations were prepared and scaled their existing environments, others had to both scope and scale their operations. Either way, they increased their attack surface by moving their edge farther from the four walls of the health system, creating a change to their cybersecurity programs.
Through participation in this VTT series, healthcare information security executives have an opportunity to collaborate and collectively develop better answers that are both data-driven and experience-based. You will be part of an engaged community of healthcare thought leaders, exchanging information and ideas on how to improve healthcare cybersecurity and, ultimately, patient security during these unprecedented times.
Some critical topics that will be explored during the first part of the series include:
- Discussing controls that were bypassed during rapid deployment of work from home and telemedicine
- Recognizing ways to assess your current tools and extract maximum value
- Evaluating risk-based decisions and prioritize initiatives
