Session 3: Leadership, Culture & Values
Friday, November 6, 2020 • 12:15 PM – 1:45 PM (EDT)
2020 has been a stress test for almost all organizations. Successful companies cultivate cultures that enable their people to develop the capacity to move forward despite obstacles and recover quickly from difficulties. Teams steeped in a sense of shared purpose and organizational values that know how to self-organize quickly to maintain and enhance operations come out on top in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) world. Resiliency is important to businesses because it enables associates to better anticipate, prepare for, respond and adapt to ever increasing market disruptions, shifts in customer preferences and challenging competitor tactics that can knock a business off its hinges. Dr. Tom Epperson and Luck Companies Chief Growth Officer John Pullen will share how focusing on your culture and leading with values can help heal the fault lines that have been exposed by the events of 2020 and build the resilience necessary for your business to thrive into the future.
