Adele Cook is Chief Learning Officer at Arizona Department of Economic Security, heading up the enterprise learning and development department that is responsible for all L&D within the Department
Adele is a learning leader with over 25 years’ experience in employee and organizational development in both the public and private sector. She has spent 20 years in the public sector, at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, the Arizona Department of Administration, and the Department of Economic Security.
She specializes in building successful teams that drive success not only within the learning and development function but across the organization and frequently beyond DES to other organizations. Learning solutions produced by her team have been adopted as national standards, as well intra-state standards, and the leadership development program is making use of world class approaches and solutions.
Adele holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Pomona College in Claremont, California. She is a member of the CLO Exchange Advisory Board, the Corporate Learning Network, and the Association for Talent Development.
