Carolyn is a self-proclaimed ‘talent fanatic’. Carolyn started her career in high-tech, working for key industry players such as BNR, Nortel, Newbridge and Alcatel-Lucent, playing a variety national and internationally-focused roles including International Mobility Consultant, HR Generalist, Program Office Director and Talent Acquisition Specialist before assuming a myriad of leadership roles related to Talent Acquisition. After 20 years in the technology sector, Carolyn moved to Minto to lead their Talent Acquisition practice. As the current AVP of Talent Acquisition for MD Financial Management, Carolyn has been instrumental in developing and implementing the company’s talent acquisition strategy, enabling MD to differentiate itself from key competitors through purposeful candidate engagement and state-of-the-art recruiting tools. Known for building and leading enthusiastic, agile and high-performing teams, Carolyn believes that the war for talent will ultimately be won by Talent Acquisition ‘Consultants’ who know how to develop and sustain long-term, trusted candidate relationships.
