Chris Nehrbass

Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Industrial Engineering in 1987.  He then received Masters of Science degree from UW-Madison in Manufacturing Systems Engineering in 1990.

Chris started his career working for Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, IL specializing in the development of offline robotic programming. He then transitioning to the Aurora, IL facility where he worked a senior process engineer and ultimately a product lead for the Large Wheel Loader Group designing and manufacturing trash compactor wheels.

Chris then transitioned SNE Inc. to take his process design skills to the manufacturing of windows in Wausau, WI where he specialized and managed the manufacturing the of wood window components.

In 2005, Chris began his career with Blankenheim Services as the Engineering Manager.  He has spent the past 14+ years developing and honing his skills in ergonomics and human factors engineering. His primary role as the Ergonomic Specialist Director has been to train and develop new talent in physical ergonomic theory and job analysis.   He now manages a team of elite ergonomic specialists ready to assist clients defining job requirements, identifying risk, resolving ergonomic issues.  He is also the primary driver and subject matter expert behind ErgoFactor®, Blankenheim Services software tool for ergonomic job analysis.
