Chris is an impact-driven business operations leader with a strong background in corporate law and significant experience leading commercial transactions and negotiations for billion-dollar companies. Chris presently serves as Executive Director of Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives at Stanford Health Care, a $2 billion academic medical system in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. Chris leads the $350 million Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives department in the centralized management of financial performance, operational metrics, process improvement initiatives, strategic planning, and resource utilization for 12 distinct business units that encompass more than 80 cost centers and approximately 2,000 staff.
Chris obtained his Juris Doctor, Certificate in Health Law and Master of Health Administration from Saint Louis University and his Bachelor of Arts from Beloit College where he studied Economics & Management and Political Science. With a fast-paced, tech-savvy and personable leadership style that focuses on outcomes and continuous improvement, Chris has been recognized as the 2014 Corporate Counsel of the Year by the St. Louis Business Journal and is a recipient of the 2015 Association of Corporate Counsel Value Champion award for creating leading best practices to increase customer service and decrease costs.
