Fatema Zanzi, Esq. is the Chief Legal Officer at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the largest pediatric healthcare provider in the region with a 136-year legacy and whose mission is to provide a healthier future for every child. She serves as the Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors of Lurie Children’s and its affiliates.
Prior to her role at Lurie Children’s, Fatema was a partner in the health care practice at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, and the partner in charge of the firm’s Chicago Office. Prior to that, she was a partner in the Chicago office of Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath. She advised boards and executive teams of hospitals and health systems across the country on strategic deals with other health systems, on new models of care and on the organization of new business entities and ventures.
Fatema is deeply committed to promoting a health care system that increases access and equity to quality care. She is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, with a Certificate in Health Law, and of Northwestern University.
