Kimberly Pennington is Vice President at Bank of America, Global Corporate Security. In her role, she manages employee safety and workplace violence prevention. Her focus is risk and threat assessment, and gap analysis. She serves as a key resource for shared decisioning with partners across the enterprise including Global Human Resources, Employee Relations, Internal Enterprise Investigations, Business Continuity, and Global Real Estate Services.
Kimberly joined the Bank in 2005 as a Life Safety manager advocating for employee health and safety. She led the initiative to deliver a global solution for emergency disaster supplies, was the safety leader that drove a comprehensive written smoking policy, and was a key partner in developing the pandemic plan for the Bank. She also educates leaders on workplace violence recognition, intervention and prevention.
Kimberly received her M.Ed. at Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. She has served as co-chair to the LGBT/Ally Ambassador employee network. She also volunteered as an American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) executive board member and referee commission member where she served as the region’s safety director, director of training, and the mentor for the youth referee program.
