Mark Wilson has a strong background in Human Resources and Labour Relations with nearly 30 years of experience in several industries, including retail, telecommunications, food services, and bereavement services.
His experience has served him well in some of Loblaw’s most transformational initiatives, including the acquisition of Shoppers Drug Mart, an extensive culture journey, and the integration of new systems and technology.
In 2015, Mark Wilson assumed the position of Executive Vice President for Loblaw Companies Limited, overseeing the people, culture and loss prevention strategies for Canada’s largest retailer and the nation’s food and pharmacy leader. With more than 2,400 corporate and franchised locations, Loblaw, employs nearly 200,000 full and part time employees, making it one of Canada’s largest private sector employers.
Mark currently sits on the Board of Directors of Daily Break Food Bank and is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). Educated in Human Resources Management, Mark attended Lakehead University and Confederation College.
