Paul Moss

Paul began his health, safety and environmental career in 1984 as Corporate Manager of Health & Safety for Ecology & Environment, Inc. in Chicago.  After six years, he moved to The NutraSweet Company (a Monsanto company) as Manager of Safety, Health and Environmental Affairs.  Paul joined Caremark International, Inc. in 1994 and developed and directed the HSE program for this international healthcare and pharmaceutical service entity.

In 1998, Paul joined Dade Behring, Inc., an international manufacturer of diagnostic medical equipment and once a part of Baxter Healthcare Corporation until it was spun-off in the early 1990s.  He had been promoted to Director and then Vice President, Global Health, Safety & Environment, in addition to global oversight for travel, security and corporate programs.  In November, 2007, Siemens AG acquired Dade Behring, and Paul was promoted to Corporate Vice President, Global EHS and Travel for Siemens Healthineers Laboratory Diagnostics.  He works out of the Siemens Healthineers offices in both Chicago and New York.  Since then, Paul has also taken on the role of Chief Security Officer for the Siemens Healthineers Lab Diagnostics business and has also taken on the role of Healthcare EHS Regional Leader for North America and Latin America in the Siemens Healthineers business sector.

Paul received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California-Davis and his Master of Public Health Degree in Environmental and Industrial Health from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  He has been awarded certification in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene (CIH) in the United States and has also earned the designation of Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) in Canada.

Paul has authored numerous publications on best practices within the health, safety and environment profession.  He is an active member of the Ethics Enforcement Committee of the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene; a member of the Education and Curriculum Board for the University of Michigan, School of Public Health; and a member of the ORC HSE Executive Business Issues Forum Steering Committee.

When not busy with work, Paul keeps himself active in family life with his wife Annie, as well as golf and jet skiing.  One of his sons played golf for the University of California at San Diego and practices law in California, while the other son graduated from the University of Southern California in Global Finance and is employed by BMO Harris Bank in Chicago.
