She serves as SVP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (…and Belonging) at the National Office of Volunteers of America. She is a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE), a Certified Professional Diversity Coach (CPDC) and has multiple HR certifications. She has earned a Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, a certificate in Executive Leadership and a certificate in Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (S.T.A.R.) multi-cultural training.
For over 15 years she has worked with nonprofit and corporate leaders to create high performance cultures that drive success and attract retain and develop top talent. She has strategic and tactical expertise and a track record of success building and implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion solutions as well as Human Resources and business initiatives. In collaboration with Boards, Executives and Leaders at all levels, she creates healthier cultures, happier employees and more effective leaders.
Active in the community, she is a member of The Society for Diversity, Evanta CHRO Community, and Society for Human Resource Management. She is a former President of DC Human Resources Leadership Forum. Previously, she served as Senior Advisor to the Board of NOVA SHRM and a pattern-changing Coach for survivors of domestic violence for ACTS/Turning Points.
