The year 2020 began much like any other year but in short order, everything changed. No person or company has been spared the impact of COVID-19. Many healthcare organizations are having to furlough or lay-off a record number of employees while others are facing shortages of critical clinical and other essential employees. A common theme, however, is that all people leaders are now faced with new challenges and workforce demands unlike they have experienced before.
As hospital and health system leaders continue to navigate the COVID-19 crisis, they are now beginning to pivot and have begun thinking about short and long-term strategies, plans and objectives.
