Leveraging IT to Achieve Organizational Objectives and Drive Transformation

From the virus to the variants to the vaccines, 2020 and 2021 will be remembered for dramatic shifts and unprecedented disruption. For healthcare CIOs and IT Leaders, the COVID-19 pandemic placed an unexpected spotlight on telehealth, remote work and virtual collaboration, on crisis management and agile leadership, and on adapting continually to the uncertain healthcare landscape.

Regardless of location, health systems across the country struggle with affordability, inequitable health care access, uneven outcomes, evolving patient expectations and increasing demand for services from growing populations with longer life spans. Health information and digital technologies can help meet these challenges, by supporting population health management, enhancing the patient experience and driving insights into health conditions and the social determinants of health. Federal mandates and evolving regulations, combined with changing patient expectations continue to influence the way healthcare is delivered, consumed and reimbursed.

The Healthcare IT Institute continues to provide a unique, intimate environment for experienced and accomplished hospital and health systems CIOs and technology leaders to gather on an annual basis. After a decade of executing the Healthcare IT Institute in-person, the 2021 iteration of the Institute is going Virtual. While no one could have predicted the current situation, we are continuing our commitment to creating space for networking, knowledge transfer, dialogue and collaboration amongst hospital and health system IT Executives, and their partners, even if we cannot (physically) be together. On the Remo Platform, you will have an opportunity to learn and share insights, strategies, tips and tactics, as well as engage in stimulating discussions around minimizing the risks and maximizing the opportunities facing hospitals and health systems.
